April 2018 Wildfires cause damage in Martha OK

Already exhausted from fighting wildfires, area firefighters were called to a cotton bale fire in Altus, followed by yet another fire in Martha, Oklahoma.

Over the course of the battle, the town's roughly 160 inhabitants were evacuated as a multi-county mutual aid response brought in a contingent of southwest Oklahoma fire departments.
