Tire catches fire, destroys shop

A tire caught on fire in a local shop recently, destroying much of the contents.

SERVPRO of Wichita Falls responded to their emergency call and inspected the building.

Before dispatch, each crew member was instructed to wear heavy weight personal protective equipment (PPE).

Crews were then dispatched to sort which items could be restored and which were a total loss.

A roll away dumpster was delivered on site to haul debris away.

Because the shop was constructed of metal, the SERVPRO of Wichita Falls team was able to clean, treat, and rinse the structure with a pressure washer from the top down.

Thankfully, damage to the exterior of the structure was minimized.
