Small leak causes big damage

Using infrared technology to detect hidden leaks.

When this homeowner woke up, she noticed the carpet was wet. Puzzled, she started searching for obvious leaks, but could not find one.

Then she call SERVPRO of Wichita Falls. Our expertly trained technicians immediately responded and began to search for leaks.

Utilizing our infrared technology, our technicians were able to find a small leak that had been damaging the sheet rock and insulation, until it finally surfaced under the carpet.

Our team removed the wet materials and established a drying protocol while the customer called in a plumber to fix the source of the leak.

Once the leak was repaired we extracted the remaining water from the carpet and continued with our drying protocol.

Overall, the damage to the home and the disruption to the homeowner was nominal.
