#snowmageddon2021 continues in Texoma
2/24/2021 (Permalink)
The forecast called for up to three inches of snow across Texoma.
While some folks disregarded the weather warnings, your team of restoration experts at SERVPRO of Wichita Falls began to prepare for the worst.
We know snow is rare in our area, and we only see major storms once a decade or so.
But we prepared our equipment and teams to be ready for whatever happened.
Eleven and a half inches of snow fell across the region, breaking records in both Texas and Oklahoma.
Additionally, record breaking low temperatures added to the problem, causing water pipes to freeze and burst, and leaving many without water and power for days.
Your SERVPRO of Wichita Falls teams were ready. We have direct expertise in dealing with storm damage through our national SERVPRO Disaster Recovery Team, and called in support from strategically located Disaster Recovery Teams specially trained to respond to catastrophic storms and major events.
#snowmageddon2021 is far from over. We are still experiencing periods of freezing temperatures and thawing that continue to affect property owners.
And we're still here, ready to help and ready for whatever happens.
